Its core mission is to remove financial and social barriers and increase access to physical activity, sports, and active living for youth and communities.
ABOUT US
Founder’s Legacy: Inspired by Allan Andrews, who founded Andrews Hockey Growth Programs and spent over 44 years mentoring youth and promoting health and sportsmanship on Prince Edward Island and beyond.
Mission: Relieving barriers so that young people can dream big through community physical activity programs, equipment grants, registration subsidies, and education webinars.
Programs & Support: Partners with local organizations and groups – such as Cycling PEI, the Souris Striders Ski Club, and community strength funds – to offer inclusive, low-cost or free active programs like community cycling and skiing initiatives.

Andrews Dream Big Assist Fund and Cycling PEI are planning ahead for the HopOn community program 2027, a fun games-based cycling program that teaches school-aged children the joys of cycling safely. Check back for updates.

The Souris Striders Ski Club is supported by the Striders Dream Big Project & the Hon. Frank and Dorothy Lewis Community Strength Fund. Last winter the Ski Club was able to purchase equipment and increase access. The Club has beautiful trails for use off season. A great way to spend a summer day! https://sourisstriders.ca
